Meet the Team

  • Nadège KB

Founder & Director Kizomba Fusion / Urban Kiz

With a background of 18 years in Jazz Dance, Nadège KB discovered ballroom partner dances in 2009 before fully immersing herself in Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba from 2011 onward. After performing for two years with show team “Salsa Emotion”, she later joined the teaching staff at Alkemia Dance School in Luxembourg.

Driven by a deep passion for Kizomba, she trained internationally and in 2016 formed a dance partnership with EL Cruz. The duo quickly rose to prominence, touring major dance festivals worldwide - from Europe to Orlando, Malaysia, and Australia - for nearly three years, and earning the title of Vice-Champions of Urban Kiz France in 2017.

Alongside collaborations with renowned international artists, Nadège spent over a decade teaching at Alkemia, leading its Kizomba division for seven years. Additionally certified in life coaching (ICN Business School, Nancy), she founded Unique Dance School (UDS) end of 2023, blending her passion for African-rooted dances with personal development.

  • EL Cruz

    Kizomba Fusion / Urban Kiz

Born in Cape Verde, Helder (aka EL Cruz) has breathed Kizomba since childhood. After starting formal training in Luxembourg in 2015, he won the Luxembourg Kizomba Championship the same year.

That milestone marked his first dance with Nadège KB, who would soon become his long-term partner. In 2016, after winning an on-line competition, they officially formed their duo and quickly rose onto the international scene, touring major dance festivals across Europe, Orlando, Malaysia, and Australia for nearly three years. Alongside their international work, they taught locally and played a key role in developing the Kizomba department at Alkemia Dance School for seven years.

In 2017, they earned the title of Vice-Champions of Urban Kiz in France.

Blending EL Cruz’s Cape Verdean roots with Nadège KB’s diverse dance background, they created a distinctive style embodied by their motto #MakeYourDanceUnique.

  • David

    Kizomba Fusion / Urban Kiz

David discovered partner dancing at 16, starting with ballroom dances and winning a competition just one year later. During his studies in Cologne, he trained in Salsa and continued at the Cuban Salsa school Ahinama Luxembourg.

In 2015, he found his true passion in Kizomba, quickly specializing in Urban Kiz. In 2017, he earned the title of Luxembourg/Belgium Urban Kiz Champion.

Soon after, David began teaching workshops in Luxembourg and internationally, joined the dance team Infamous Honeys Luxembourg, and in 2018 was selected by Paris-based Kizomba pioneer Laurent Yshiu to join the Online Kizomba School (OKS).

Since 2023, he has also been a member of Kizz Ryders Dance Crew and remains an active international workshop instructor. He has been teaching Urban Kiz at Unique Dance School since its creation.

  • Jey

    ‍Heels Dance

Passionate Heels teacher with a “fierce & fire” signature style, Jey helps dancers step into their confidence through movement and attitude. Her approach combines technique, posture work and fluidity, while emphasizing presence and personal expression.

Driven by passion, she trained in Paris, London, Madrid and Amsterdam to broaden her technique and refine her artistic identity.

Because she doesn’t come from a traditional dance background, she built her classes for dancers who, like her, followed a non-classical path — those who love dance deeply but have sometimes doubted their place or legitimacy.

Teaching, for her, is about much more than steps: it’s about creating a space where dancers grow, assert themselves, and dare to shine.

  • La Blondine

    AfroKids & Afro Vibes

With over 320K followers on TikTok, Valentina (aka La Blondine) has become a real phenomenon on social media since last summer (amongst others through her trends like “Songi Songi”).

After 8 years of rhythmic gymnastics and 2 years of Hip-Hop, she fell in love with Afro dances and joined a crew in Trier. From that point, Afro dance became her life, her everyday joy and means of self-expression that she is sharing in our AfroKids (6-12 y.o.) and Afro Vibes classes (for teens & adults) since September.

She really has that unique Afro groove and irradiates so much joy when dancing, that she is just a drug to look at. Signed up by a professional agency in Paris, she is for sure at the beginning of an exciting & successful dance career to come.

  • Cycy

    AfroFit & Afro Dances

Trained in the world of Hip-Hop, in addition to House and Dancehall for 10 years, Cycy has developed her own unique style mixing all of those disciplines together.

After several years of practice in Afro House, she settled in Paris in 2017 to specialize and take trainings from famous dance schools such as MRG Studio and Afronovo School.

Upon her return in Metz, she co-created the association Ma Zone A (MZA) where she is sharing her passion since years now. After teaching for various dance schools in Metz & Thionville as well, she joined UDS since its opening to give regular classes in Luxembourg for the very first time.

Cycy has that magnificent African vibe and most luminous energy making it a spark of joy for every single person attending her classes and watching her perform on stage.

  • Claudia

    Hip-Hop

Full-time dance teacher and choreographer working in both dance and theatre, Claudia has trained intensively with internationally renowned programs across Europe & the US, and has competed with The Fusion Dance Crew in major dance events.

She's been a dance teacher for over 15 years in numerous schools in Luxembourg and has been involved in many educational and artistic collaborations.

Her style is diverse, including some Latin, Commercial, Heels, Urban Contemporary, and mostly Hip-Hop.

Incredibly full of energy with a very supportive pedagogy, Claudia has joined UDS since September and is just a gem to take classes from.
